{diamonds are a girls best friend}

I love this raw cut saphire that looks like a diamond in this 14 k yellow gold ring. There is something so simple and innocent about it. When I have looked at rings in the past for what I would really like as an engagement ring I usually sway toward those all around diamond bands without the gaudy diamond. I don't like the white gold or silver look either. It appears so cold and lifeless to me, especially on my skin. However, I think this little one has changed my mind. And who says that you have to have a diamond as your engagement ring? My good friend has a citrine for her engagement ring because she doesn't like diamonds. Hmmm.... thinking... thinking....
