Out My Window

I love this picture. Wouldn't it be just as beautiful having the snow on the vine in the back window? You can almost smell the ivy, can't you? It reminds me of a lovely cottage kitchen somewhere that has a wood burning stove in the corner with some lovely chicken broth bubbling on top. A loaf of bread baking in the oven, a pie cooling in the warming ovens, and a sleepy mommy cat curled up in the back on a warm pillow cuddling a litter of kittens. And beside me is a basket with a rosy cheeked baby cooing as I peel potatos at the sink. Gosh, it makes me think of such things. Maybe someday they will be real!
