Timeless Comfort: Pies

Comfort is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of pies. Any kind of pie. I am a pie queen and when I found the link to this post by Megan over at Not Martha I found myself smitten. Pies in my childhood evoke cool crisp autumn days eating a piece of apple pie under fiery red maple trees with the smell of burning willow in the air. There is nothing like it really. So here, Megan has a smaller version for all of us to try. I haven't tried them yet for myself but I am sure that they will be pretty tasty.
