When all you knew was love...

Wasn't it wonderful when you were a child to feel that all encompassing, unconditional love from your parents? It didn't matter if you spilled cherry Kool-Aid on your Mom's carpet or if you couldn't catch a fish on the first try when you were out with your Dad. They loved you, wholeheartedly. Then isn't it strange when you start to grow up and find that not everyone thinks you are wonderful or really very special. You start to learn that love is conditional and that you have to be perfect in order to be loved. Isn't that what alot of us are suffering from, broken hearts? We all deserve to be loved just the way we are, no strings attached. One of my goals this year is to be more loving, unconditionally and to give of myself to other people wholeheartedly and show them just how wonderful someone is that exudes love to people. There truly is nothing more wonderful then receiving love from someone when you know that they really mean it even when its not conveinant for them. Like washing their dishes or taking care of them when they are sick. A loyal love that says I will always be there for you even when all else fails. I just love that. Don't you?
