My mom's bakery (Lara's Bakery) makes the loveliest Iced Sugar Cookies for Valentines Day. But it is always nice to get some extra ideas. Today I checked out the the Inspired Room blog where Melissa has a picture of some lovely iced hearts. I thought that you would enjoy seeing them. They really make your heart stop with joy (excuse the pun!).

I agree. This do make your heart stop with joy. How can I learn to make the icing for these cookies. You know, the icing that is smooth and hardens to look like the cookies have been freshly painted work of the heart (like the picture)? I'd love to learn how to make it and so I can have a tradition to pass down to my two daughters. Thanks!
